We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a digital marketing assistant – taking full control of the company’s online presence including social media, websites, online platforms and in house digital systems. The successful candidate will also be involved with online marketing for up to 5 other companies within the group, as well as managing Clients Digital Marketing request.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a digital marketing assistant – taking full control of the company’s online presence including social media, websites, online platforms and in house digital systems. The successful candidate will also be involved with online marketing for up to 5 other companies within the group, as well as managing Clients Digital Marketing request.

This is a varied role with an opportunity to be involved in all areas of the company’s marketing strategy in a positive, friendly environment that encourages growth and learning.

The Role:
  • Developing and advancing the online presence of the group
  • Managing up to 10 group websites
  • Creating content – blog posts, brochures, web pages
  • Producing marketing communications – including e-bulletins
  • Running Social Media channels and growing presence and following
  • Taking full control of group websites
  • Reporting on online campaigns
  • Preparing for and attending events and exhibitions
  • Building our Ecommerce Website for the sale of PC and Telecom Services.
  • Managing WordPress Websites.
  • Be instrumental in developing video and image content to be used on website and social media platforms.
The Person:
  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in a marketing related subject and/or experience in a similar role.
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles, online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
  • Strong IT skills with an ability to write articulate, concise and accurate SEO optimised content
  • Ability to use Photoshop and/or Illustrator
  • Working knowledge of WordPress or similar website software
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • High level of IT literacy
  • Experience in e-commerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing or Social Media – highly desirable

In return the company will offer to the right candidate a permanent position within a fast growing company, career progression opportunities and a salary of between £20,000 – £25,000 dependant on experience. The company will also support the right candidate towards obtaining any relevant training as and when required. Normal shift times are flexible and will be agreed with the successful candidate. Career progression opportunities are available with a fast growing, dynamic company. The occasional late and weekend shift may be required; candidate is expected to be flexible.

Expected start date: 01/09/2021

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Education:

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Experience in digital marketing, social media platforms for business and content marketing in a B2B environment would be advantageous.
  • Extremely organised, methodical and showing a real attention to detail
  • Happy content writing and strong proof reading skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills – written / spoken / presenting
  • Microsoft Office proficiency – Word / Excel / Publisher / PowerPoint
  • Show drive and initiative for continual improvement
  • Work well in a team and with a range of people, developing strong working relationships
  • Persuasive and diplomatic
  • A desire to be a Marketing professional
  • Marketing: 2 year (preferred)

Please note this role is based with in our office at North Weald. We are not offering remote working or outsourcing for this role.
